GAINING SYSTEM ACCESS
How do I obtain access to Chubb’s on-line systems? Please contact your local Chubb Development Underwriter or Business Development Manager to discuss your requirements.
How can I add a new staff member or cancel the User ID of someone who is leaving? To add a new person, please contact your local Chubb Development Underwriter or Business Development Manager.

To protect the security of your clients, it’s vital that you revoke access for any staff member who leaves.
If you are a Broker with Administration rights, you can cancel the details of a leaver via the broker page. If not, please contact your Chubb underwriter providing your agency name, the first and last name of the leaver and their email address.
If I have a User ID and password, do I automatically have access to all Chubb’s on-line applications? No. Access rights are granted to applications on a system by system basis. This is for the security of both Chubb and the broker.

Additional access rights can be added to an existing User ID. If you wish to have access to additional applications, please contact your local Chubb Development Underwriter or Business Development Manager.

PASSWORD AND LOG-ON ISSUES
I can’t remember my User ID or Password? Unless you have previously amended this, your User ID will be your email address.

If you can’t remember your password, use the reset function on the Log-in page and a new password will be emailed to you instantaneously (or click here).

If you continue to have problems, please contact your Chubb underwriter.
My User ID and Password won’t work? In the first instance use the reset function on the Log-in page and a new password will be emailed to you instantaneously (or click here).

Unless you have previously amended this, your User ID will be your email address.
Can I change my Password? Yes you can – when you log in the first time it’s offered as part of the log in process.

After the first time you’ve logged in, go to the Change Profile tab at the top of the @Chubb user page.
Can I change my User ID? We recommend that your User ID is your email address.

If you want to change your User ID, you must contact your local Chubb Development Underwriter or Business Development Manager.
What should I do if I am going to change my email address? Some of our systems issue documents via email.
Before your email address changes, change the email address via the Change Profile tab at the top of the @Chubb User area (see screen shot)

Also alert your local Chubb Development Underwriter or Business Development Manager.
What format must my password take? The Password should be 6-32 characters and can be any combination of numbers and letters.
Are User IDs and passwords case sensitive? Yes
 
SYSTEM SETTINGS, SYSTEM ISSUES AND ERROR MESSAGES
Is my software compatible? We support browsers from Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) 8 upwards. Other browsers are supported but performance and compatibility is not guaranteed.

We no longer support Internet Explorer 6. If you use this system, it will need upgrading. In the first instance, please contact your company’s IT specialist.
What if I do not have Internet Explorer 8? Without Internet Explorer 8 you may not be able to use Chubb on-line applications. If you experience problems, in the first instance you should contact your company’s IT specialist about upgrading to IE8.

Alternatively, switching to another browser (eg Firefox) may cure the problem. Again, you should discuss this with your company’s IT specialist.
How do I find out what browser and version I am running? On your browser menu, select 'Help', then 'About...' This will show you a window with the relevant information. See screenshots for IE8 examples.



I can’t open the PDF files? You need Acrobat Reader software to view PDF files. To get this, or upgrade your version, please go to www.adobe.com.
I seem to get a blank screen? This may be due to an old or incompatible browser. In the first instance, please contact your company’s IT specialist to identify your browser.
 
HOW DO I LOG ON?
  1. Go to www.chubb.com – the Chubb global website.

  2. Select your Country at the top of the screen (please note that the Country defaults to US, so it is important that you select your correct country)



  3. Select '@chubb Log-in' on the top bar. We recommend you save this address as a bookmark in your Favourites.



  4. Select 'English – United Kingdom' or 'English – Ireland' in the 'Select a Language - Country' dropdown.

  5. Then enter your User ID and Password to access the @Chubb User area.


    The first time you log on you will need to follow the following additional steps:

    1. You will see a Disclaimer page. Please read, and assuming you agree, click ‘I agree’.
    2. You will see the Profile update page. We strongly advise that you change your Password when you first log on:
      • The Password should be 6-32 characters (numbers/letters and case sensitive).
      • Enter the Password again to confirm it’s correct.
      • Enter your work phone number.
      • Confirm your email address.
      • Click OK.
      We do not recommend that you change your User ID
    3. The screen will confirm you’ve changed your profile details and will log you out. You can log on again immediately with the new password.


  6. After logging on, scroll down the left hand side of the screen. You will see ‘Miscellaneous’ and a link to the systems to which you have access. Click on the system you wish to access.
